Read Eric Spudic's interview with Kenneth J. Hall at b-movie.com.
Happy Friday the 13th!

5/10/05

If you're going to be attending Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors in Burbank on June 4 & 5, stop by BV Entertainment's table and say "hello" to Kenneth J. Hall and some of the cast. They'll be signing and giving away DVD inserts for the movie's updoming release. We'll be announcing more details soon.

4//20/05

Free-lance horror journalist Amanda by Night recently interviewed Kenneth J. Hall about his career and, of course, THE HALFWAY HOUSE. Check it out.

For those of you who are wondering why our site was offline for a few days, it was because we had over 1800 hits on our trailer IN ONE DAY just from Nerve.com, which caused us to exceed our allotted bandwidth!

Dingbat Magazine, an online publication that focuses on digital production, heard about how our Director of Photography, Tom Callaway, did such a phenomenal job that industry professionals believe it was shot on film! They are planning on doing more extensive coverage of the film, but just posted a comment stating THE HALFWAY HOUSE could "be a nail in film's coffin."

Speaking of Tom Callaway, we would like to congratulate him for his work shooting FEAST, the feature for this season's "Project Greenlight." Check your local listings so you can watch Tom in action along with some of our other friends, including director John Gulager and his actor/father Clu Gulagher.

3/28/05

Jason Wishnow, among his many talents, is a talented editor who helped make some cuts for the R-rated version of the film. He recently interviewed Kenneth J. Hall on Nerve. com about the fine art of creating an exploitation trailer. Take a look.

It's a new year and the buzz about THE HALFWAY HOUSE continues to grow as we get closer to announcing the DVD release. CultCuts Magazine just posted a rave review of the film online. Check it out!

12/19/04

Shortly before our screening at the Valley Film Festival, Fangoria.com released a news item which also mentioned details about our DVD release. This announcement, which has since been quoted on other websites, was a bit premature as we are still in negotiations with our domestic distributor. Also, there is no plan of including a full-frame version of the film and some of the DVD extras described will not be on the first release DVD, which will be an R-rated cut.
While we appreciate Fango's eagerness to get the information out, we apologize to any of our other loyal friends in the press if you thought we'd ignored you when making this important announcement.
